Royal ibis-pilots are an order of carefully selected pilots in the service of the Spelheim's royal court. As such, they are tasked to escort high-level dignitaries and members of the royal court. In addition, they are also trained to operate its airships, specifically the Shu-class Courier Ship. Traditionally, the royal ibis-pilots operate in pairs of two, being trained to represent the queen Qetesh and prince Meru abroad. They wear green flight suits and greaves, as well as black belts and yellow helmets. Selection criteria includes a prior spotless service record, as well as physical similarities between the pilots assigned to their respective ships.
History
Pair of royal pilots were assigned to fly the Shu-class courier ship, carrying prince Meru to Midgård.
Having landed on Midgård, Meru's pilots stay with the ship as he goes off to search for the matriarch.

Crystal Guard is a planet - wide religious order. They are responsible for upholding the previously mandatory worship of the primary aesir deities. The pantheon of Kagutsuchi, Tsukiyomi and Hoori. The Crystal Guard also performs ceremonial rites, public prayers and soul consignments. Behind the benign public face, they hide their darker agenda from the population. The Crystal Guard possesses a wing of armed Temple Cruisers and other aircraft. Their call is to restore order in the event of an uprising. During the Great Race War, the Cultists were armed with plasma staffs. The organization is led by an individual only referred to as the 'High Priestess' Most of the cultist's ranks are made of the purple-clad clones of the High Priestess
They maintain a multitude of both public and secret temples and shrines across Thyra. They are located anywhere from the Spelheim desert to the Fensalir Evermire. The shrines are connected by a series of biforst- teleportation portals. The location of the group's headquarters is unknown to the world at large. It is only referred to as the Temple Prime.
History
Following the matriarch's rousing speech, the local cultists are ambushed and overrun by armed feline mobs.
The Cultists reinforcements attack Midgård during the onset of the Great Race War, battling a faction of armed felines near the Andlang Citadel.

Wadjet City is the royal capital city of Spelheim and its largest population centre. At the centre of the city lies the queen Qetesh's Royal palace. Wadjet is located along the Desert's eastern coastline, and thus offers a more mild weather than the rest of the scorching realm.
The city has a layout of a pyramid - like structures spread around the central palace, having been built with the Ibis needs in mind. Many such design features include an open - ended flight teraces and other entrances only unlockable by flying or by a certain sound tune. For ease of access by its wingless visitors, several long sky - walkways connect the adjacent buildings to one another.
The Raven Syndicate trade guild has made the city its home. For that reason, the city has a guild - funded seaport by its harbor and a water - supply system. The sandstorms are frequent in Wadjet, especially at night.

Pulse Cannon
MUUPA are a series of automated utility/military drones. The name stands for Multiple Utility Patrol Assault. They were built by director Skuld. Several early prototypes were first deployed during the Battle of Midgård. They were sent to defend it against the Crystal Guard and to pursue the Canine refugees.
Strike MUUPA prototype.
The strike model is equipped with a medium pulse cannon. It's main task is to tore through the battlefield and create opening in the enemy front lines. It's secondary weapon is a mechnical tail. The tail is used to lash out enemies with concussing blows. It's secondary task is to harass and pursuit the infantry.
Aerial MUUPA prototype.
The aerial MUUPA is designed for urban surveillance and by appearance, psychological warfare. The drone is unarmed. As another drawback, it is prone to overly analyzing its surroundings. This can be exploited with a diversionary tactics. The tactics often employed by the canine resistance.
Tripod MUUPA prototype.
Tripod MUUPA is designed specifically for deployment on the hard-to-traverse, mountainous regions of Jotunheim. The prototype is armed with a covered dorsal plasma mortar for a siege warfare.
Scout MUUPA prototype.
Scout MUUPA's are specifically designed to operate on urban environments and inaccessible hazardous conditions. Due to the small size, they are able to maneuver quickly on ruins and air ducts alike. Aside its military applications, it is favoured by rescue workers as well. Although expendable, it is programmed with a minimal degree of self-preservation. Although unarmoured and unarmed, it is still able to defend itself with a high-powered energy shocks generated from its forelegs.
History
The early MUUPA line military prototypes were first deployed during the Battle of Midgård. After the battle, mainline quadrupedal MUUPA's were recalled for a mass-combat conversion, although some units managed to escape the draft. The original prototypes, with the exception of the quadrupedal model, were ordered dismantled afterwards, cited to have only ever been useful in acquiring combat data.

Spelheim Courier Ship, or Shu-class Courier Ship is a class of aerial transports in service of the Spelheim's royal family. Combining sleek aesthetic lines and traditional green/gold colour scheme, a royal courier ship of this type is instantly recognizable as a result of the world-famous Ibis crafters.
A Spelheim Courier Ship is usually crewed by a pair of two royal pilots in a forward control cockpit. The ship has a pair of engine nacelles, one located at the tip of each wing. Unlike formerly canine or feline vessels, the Shu-cass Courier uses a form of liquid fuel in it instead of Crystals to power the ship's energy core.
The ship has a crew of two and a capacity for a court of ten additional passengers. The rear-end of the vessel contains a private cabin reserved for the travelling queen or a prince. Due to the ships' nature, they are often seen docked at the Wadjet's royal palace.
History
A ship of this type, named the Light Pillar was used by Prince Meru on an ill-fated diplomatic mission to Midgård at the outbreak of the Great Race War.

The Felines, or Fel are a proud warrior race, genetically attuned to the art of war and progress. The feline race favours cutting-edge technology to the point of obsession, accepthing nothing less than a masterwork. The genus consist of a number of smaller sub-groups. These include the brute Smilodons and Saber Tigers, the army's backbone Panthers, Leopards and the fleet-footed Cheetah.
While fiercely protective of their own kind and extremely loyal to the ruling Feline Matriarchate, some have nonetheless turned their support to the renegade Crystal Guard cultists. The Crystal Guard felines have since begun to wage a guerilla war upon the Matrarchate's loyalist faction.
Overlooking the other races generally runs deep in their blood, more as a racial “feature” than a choice of mind. The race's innate sense of superiority and adamant quest for perfection often tends to make them understimate their adversaries. This brilliant mindset is also the driving force behind their successive image as a unified, although expansionist race. Economically, the combined might of the Fel forms the strongest economy on the planet, with a strong emphasis for powerful corporate umbrellas.
History
Before the war, the felines were unknowingly under the watchful eye and influence of the guardian deity Kagutsuchi and the Crystal Guard. However, as a result of their Matriarch's actions, the feline people, along with other races, are freed from the yoke of the Aesir race. This may unleash a global conflict known as the Great Race War.

Fensalir Evermire is one of the less-known frontiers of the known world of Thyra, being mostly an unnavigable marshland primarily inhabited by the native lizard-like Scaali folk. Absent of large-scale settlements and production, the native occupants rely on visiting traders and merchantry, such as the mysterious 'Gray's' for the trade and export of goods. In exchange of certain hard-to-produce technological items, they provide artisantry, jewels and hand-crafted exotic outfits for export.
Due to remote nature of the Fensalir Evermire, many of its inhabitants look for a way to leave their poor homeland behind, in search of their fortune elsewhere such as the realm of Vanaheim. The common way for a Scaali young to achieve this, is to procure a special offering to the visiting trader as a proof of that person''s independence abroad and as a "travelling ticket" to get there.
The flora and fauna of the realm consists of semi-consciouss vines, insects of varying danger, carnivorous plants and naturally, many treacherous swamps only familiar to the native dwellers. In addition, the pods of water hide some of the region's most dangerous predators. The mire also hides sunken temples and other places of worship for the Crystal Guard.

World of Thyra is a set-piece and central location of the Aesir Chronicles universe.
Thyra's population is divided into three major racial generas, each consisting of multiple smaller strains. Geographically, Thyra is divided into the Realms of Vanaheim, Jotunheim, Spelheim and Niflheim, in addition to the southern Iron Woods of Jandvidr and Fensalir Evermire to form a rich and diverse biome.
Flora and fauna are diverse, ranging from frigid mountains and searing desert lands to deep woodlands, marshes and beyond. The most numerous of the Thyran wildlife is the wild gryphon, whose multitude of breedings have adapted well to their surrounding environments to form many breeds, such sand gryphons. Thyra is circled by two moons, Lune-Titanis (Prime Moon) and Lune-Minaris (Second Moon). The larger of the two, Lune-Titanis, being the cascade of the monthly "Scar of the Moon" or Lunestorm. Lunestorm is phenomenal event that triggers extreme global weather patterns, such as fierce thunderstorms and an inbearably scorching desert heat.
History
Before the era of conflicts, Thyra was a world of governed by a relative peace and stability. However as it was, the status quo was in fact forcibly upheld by the agents of the mysterious Aesir race. Yet, there were those who sought to change it and bring about a true freedom of thought and action alike.
As the world is consumed by the Matriarch's machinations, various factions and territories either ally together, or begin to skirmish with one another for power.

Aegir Sea is vast body of a saline water surrounding the Thyra's sole supercontinent. The Aegir Sea is as majestic as its unpredictable, due to the huge freak waves that constantly hammer the majority of its vast coastlines. The Spelheim's serene coastal waters are a pleasant exception, yet still inhabiting populations of the ravenous garanna fish. Deeper into the sea, gargantuan sea beasts await, easily able to snatch the low-flying airships out of the sky. Or so the legends say...
Thus, the bottom of the great ocean is largely left unexplored. Yet the lure of a potential discovery has sank many intrepid explorer's to their murky fates.
The coastal regions close to the realm of Jotunheim are frozen by its ravaging, eternal ice age. They are thus wrought with crag ice formations and unstable glaciers. Apart from the main continent, the ocean has a few viable landmasses. The most notable of the large islands are the artificially made Sorum Isles to the the south-west of the mainland.
